Paintastic is a family owned business. We take our work VERY seriously... ourselves, not so much! Paintastic is the brainchild of Joey Tavares. With Joey’s vision, guidance and his ragtag band of skilled painters, wallpaperers and interior detailers, he has created a unique company in a landscape filled with painting businesses that all look and feel the same. Joey wanted to explore his natural entrepreneurial spirit by being a self-employed business owner, much like his father who has been self-employed since 1985.
With mentoring and guidance from his father Charlie, Joey wanted to emulate some of the same success principles that his dad had endeavored and taught him over the years. Values and principles that were forged in a time when hard work was the only way to run a business. When a handshake meant something and your name was your brand.

While spending most of his mid-teens to mid-30’s working with his father, Joey wanted to establish further life experience in the work world. After 7 years of working in the infrastructure industry, coordinating, supervising and project managing crews on the highway, Joey learned more skills to enable his interest in starting a business venture of his own. A business that could inspire and possibly employ his children one day.
With his patience and care for people, Joey grows Paintastic client-by-client and project-by-project carefully with meticulous attention to detail.
